Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Apex Climber ("the App", "we", "our") handles information when you use the App. By installing or using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

The App is developed by Uğur Gülay (an individual). Contact: ugurgulay@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

The App itself does not require you to create an account, and we do not operate any server that stores your personal data. Your game progress is saved locally on your device.

However, the App integrates third-party services that may collect limited information:

Google AdMob (advertising) — may collect device identifiers (including IDFA/AAID where permitted), coarse location derived from IP address, and ad-interaction data. Used to serve and measure ads.
Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) — collects and records your consent choices for personalized advertising in regions where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland, etc.).
GameAnalytics (analytics) — collects anonymous gameplay events, crash reports, device model, OS version, and a random installation ID. Not used for advertising.
Apple App Store / Google Play — process in-app purchases (the optional one-time "Remove Ads" purchase). We receive a receipt confirming purchase but not your payment details.

3. App Tracking Transparency (iOS)

On iOS 14.5 and later, the App may show Apple's tracking-permission prompt before serving personalized ads. If you decline, AdMob will serve non-personalized ads and will not access your IDFA. You can change this any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

4. How information is used

To run the game and save your progress locally.
To show ads (personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent).
To diagnose crashes and understand which features are used.
To process the "Remove Ads" purchase and recognize entitlement on restore.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data collected by the SDKs listed above is governed by those providers' own policies:

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App configures advertising SDKs with non-child-directed settings; the App's intended age rating is 12+.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you that a processor holds. Since we do not run a server, requests to delete advertising/analytics data should be directed to the third-party SDKs above. To delete your local save data, uninstall the App.

8. Data retention

Local save data persists until you uninstall the App or clear its storage. Third-party SDK retention follows their respective policies.

9. Security

We do not transmit personal data to any server we control. Communications with third-party SDKs use the providers' own secure transports (HTTPS).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
