1. What HudSpeedo Is
HudSpeedo turns a phone into a real-time telemetry dashboard for motorcycles and other vehicles. It reads speed, distance, heading and route from the device's GPS, and lean angle, pitch and G-force from the device's motion sensors.
HudSpeedo has no accounts and no server of its own. Your rides are recorded and kept on your device. What the app collects, and the two third parties it contacts, are described in the Privacy Policy.
2. Accuracy — Please Read
Every number HudSpeedo shows is an estimate derived from consumer phone hardware. It is not a calibrated instrument and is not certified for any official purpose.
- Speed and distance come from GPS, and depend on signal quality. Tunnels, buildings, weather and poor sky view degrade them.
- Lean angle, pitch and G-force come from the phone's motion sensors, and depend on how the phone is mounted and oriented. A loose or shifting mount produces wrong readings.
- Split times, records and averages are derived from the above, and inherit their error.
Do not rely on HudSpeedo as your primary speedometer, and do not rely on it where accuracy matters. Your vehicle's own instruments remain authoritative. HudSpeedo readings are not evidence and are not suitable for disputing a traffic citation, supporting an insurance claim, or any legal, competitive or official use.
You are responsible for your own speed and your own riding. Readings shown by this app do not excuse, justify or mitigate any traffic offence.
3. Licence
Subject to these terms, you are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use HudSpeedo on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
You may not: reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the app except where that right cannot be excluded by law; resell, sublicense, rent or redistribute it; remove or alter any notice or watermark; circumvent the purchase or licence checks; or use the app to break the law.
4. HudSpeedo PRO
HudSpeedo is free to use. HudSpeedo PRO is an optional upgrade that unlocks unlimited ride history, route maps, voice announcements, signed ride cards, GPX export with full telemetry, lean balance and the extra colour themes.
PRO is a single one-time purchase. There is no subscription, nothing renews, and there is nothing to cancel. Payment is charged once at confirmation of purchase.
PRO is tied to the store account you bought it with, not to a HudSpeedo account, because there is no HudSpeedo account. You can restore it on your devices through the store's own restore mechanism.
5. Payment and Refunds
All payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. HudSpeedo never sees or handles your payment details.
Refunds are governed by the policies of the store you purchased from, and refund requests go to that store rather than to us:

If a purchase fails to unlock PRO, contact us and we will help you sort it out.
6. Consumer Rights
If you are a consumer, you keep every right your local law gives you, and nothing in these terms limits those rights.
Consumers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom normally have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. That right may end once delivery of the content begins with your consent and acknowledgement, which is how app store purchases are ordinarily made. Your store's refund process is the route for exercising this.
7. Your Rides and Your Data
Ride history, records and settings are yours, and are stored on your device. We do not receive them, cannot see them and cannot recover them for you.
Deleting your rides in Settings, or uninstalling the app, removes that data permanently. Keep your own backups of anything you care about — export it with GPX export before you uninstall or reset.
Anything you choose to share — a ride card, a timelapse video, an exported GPX file — leaves the app because you chose to share it, and what happens to it afterwards is up to you and the service you shared it to. Ride data can reveal where you live, work and travel; think before you post it publicly.
8. Availability and Changes
HudSpeedo is provided as it is, and the app may change. Features may be added, altered or withdrawn, and support for older operating systems ends as platforms move on.
Some features depend on third parties — route maps use OpenFreeMap for map tiles, and purchases are validated through Adapty. If those services change or become unavailable, the features that depend on them may stop working.
The app needs location and motion permissions to do its job. If you decline or revoke them, the corresponding features will not work.
9. Disclaimer and Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HudSpeedo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted operation.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for traffic citations, accidents, injury, vehicle damage, lost or corrupted ride data, missed records, or any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app or from reliance on any reading it displays.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or any liability owed to you as a consumer under mandatory law.
10. Changes to These Terms
These terms may be updated as the app changes or the law requires. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised, and the current version always lives at this address. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the revised terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings there where your local law gives you that right.
